Bracken held the record for the most awarded Border Collie in Western Australia for many years until his great grand son Multi Ch Borderfame Heart N Soul took over. He was the first Border Collie in Western Australia to attain the title of Grand Champion and was the first Border Collie to win Best in Show at the prestigious Western Classic. His grand son Grand Ch Borderfame Mr Magic now shares this record. During his show career Bracken gained the grand total of 2800 challenge points.

Bracken has had a great influence in the Border Collies here in Western Australia as we can find him in the pedigrees of most of the other kennels in Perth, passing on his outstanding qualities and super temperament.

he was retired from the show ring at the "Contest Of Winners" 1998, making his 5th appearance at this prestigious event and enjoyed life to the fullest during his retirement. Sadly Bracken is now at The Rainbow Bridge but he will always be in my heart and as time passes the memories of the time we shared together  cease to be painful and once again become precious and a joy to recall.
