Palome was his mum's (Sue's) first show dog Sue had been involved in obedience for a number of years  with her Kelpie cross and done very well, she then decided to have a Border Collie  and do both obedience and show, Together they gained many in Group and in show awards, one very memorable one was Dog CC and Runner up Best in Show at the Border Collie of WA Championship show judged by the breed Specialist Mr Phil Ruffles (Rullion Kennels) 

Well one Border Collie always gets under your skin and you become addicted to the breed, so when Sue and Mark formed their Marsean Kennels Palome produced some lovely progeny for them
